As a Technician at PSAV, I handle the installation/tear down of equipment as well as the back-end production of corporate and private events: meeting with clients, making sure all their needs are met, to the setting up and running of the shows. As a Theater Technician at Harper College, my duties included setting lights, props, staging, for all of the event. Some of my responsibilities included: •Changing lights, altering curtains, and other stage items for events, plays, and guest speakers•Building stages, props and other items for the shows•Running Audio for speakers, singers, and performers•Striking and clearing stage and catwalk after the event has concluded•Adjusting weights for the truss according to the number of lights and/or what will be hung from them
