At TES, I design and build most of the electrical and software systems. I had a large role in setting up a biolab at our company and designed some of the basic protocols that the lab technicians follow. Some of my more notable work involved designing a Django Rest server/database that can store GPS locations of tested tree branches. After the branch is tested, the server is updated to display the progression of a disease called HLB. I then coded an android phone app that can scan the NFC tags of tagged branch containers. This app logs the GPS location and uploads the information to my server. I have helped create an autogenerating software program that will generate most of the code to run almost anything on an ATTINY84 attached to an Arudino or Raspberry Pi. On top of the software projects I have done, I designed the electrical circuitry to run a bulk DNA extraction machine and a self cleaning system.
