Worked at OpenText as a Software Engineer and 'Security Advocate.' While at OpenText I have worked with a wide range of technologies, built rapid proof of concepts, and helped develop lasting software that integrates many components. While primarily working with Angular and Spring, I have also worked with machine learning technologies such as Tensorflow and Karas, and I have also worked with Python for machine learning problems and Flask server applications.During my first few months at OpenText, I also maintained/updated legacy code, which made me familiar with technologies like JSP, and how to modernize them. As the Security Advocate for my team, I mainly focused on the PSAP process. This role allowed me to think about security while developing, and allowed me to become familiar with technologies such as Blackduck, Fortify, and BURP Suite. As Security Advocate I would ensure the security maturity of our products, often by delegating security issues as they arise, or resolving them myself.

Programmed 3pi and m3pi robots; developed and documented an API allowing 3pi robots to navigate an n-by-n grid. Developed a communications platform allowing multiple m3pi robots to communicate with one another; utilizing the communications platform, assisted a Master's student in the presentation of her thesis.Developed educational materials for Grade 6-12 students; wrote tutorials designed to teach middle school and high school students the C-language. Visited middle schools to discuss the implementation of these tutorials under the "Coding Across Georgia" grant. Attended after-school programs to showcase robotics programming. Directed a workshop for middle school teachers, explaining the tools and API that they would be working with.Author of research grant to fund presentation at Mercer UniversityPresented research at Armstrong State University’s Techfest; received second place. Presented research at Armstrong State University’s Student Scholar Symposium. Designed a website to host the tutorials, 3pi/m3pi essentials, and live feed of the robots in coordination with IT Seniors.Trained incoming research assistants to implement the API.
