As a K-5 teacher, I facilitated engaging and age-appropriate lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. I designed and implemented curriculum, assessed student progress, and communicated effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Utilizing various teaching methods, I aimed to inspire a lifelong love for learning while catering to diverse learning styles and needs. During my time in the classroom I was named the district’s Teacher of the Year in 2021 and Western NC’s Teacher of the Year in 2022. Currently, In my role as an instructional coach, I provided expert guidance to educators, supporting them in refining their teaching techniques and strategies. Through one-on-one consultations and group workshops, I helped teachers enhance their instructional practices, integrate new technologies, and implement data-driven assessments. Collaborating with school leadership, I played a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and student-centered learning.As a keynote speaker and professional development leader, I leveraged my expertise to deliver impactful presentations that inspired and informed audiences.
