This position oversees the management teams and directs the overall operations and maintenance of an assigned territory within the FedEx Ground network. Additionally, leads the respective management teams to ensure proper utilization of staffing and all safety, service, quality, compliance and performance standards are met along with planning, establishing, and executing business objectives to meet all operational goals.

This position is responsible for overseeing the complete operation and maintenance for a large-sized satellite/distribution facility, and ensures the facility is operating to optimize safety and quality measures. This position is also responsible for managing the package flow between hubs and area satellites and overseeing the pickup and delivery of packages.

This position is responsible for managing service for the pickup and delivery of packages, as well as the loading and unloading of trailers and vans. Recruits, hires, trains and evaluates Package Handlers and Service Managers. This position is also responsible for creating a safe work environment including monitoring the maintenance of equipment, conducting presort meetings and troubleshooting problems on each sort.
