As a 2nd Officer at Ambrey, I provide maritime security and risk management services to commercial and private vessels, operating in high-risk areas around the world. I have been working with Ambrey for over two years, and I hold a South African Unlimited Class 3 Certificate of Competency.My core competencies include workplace safety, fire safety, incident investigation, navigational equipment maintenance, and medical care. I am the designated safety and compliance officer onboard, and I carry out various safety and anti-piracy drills for crew and passengers. I also have extensive experience in crowd situational awareness and crowd management, which I gained from working on container vessels for more than five years. I am passionate about maritime operations and I enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment.
