I am currently an Account Manager at Shaw Contract which is a fantastic role. My main focus is to build brand awareness in the South West and South Wales area and to work with the A&D community presenting the amazing portfolio of products that we have. Shaw is a human centric company and I love to form and build relationships with clients and ensure that I can help to create inspiring spaces. I also work closely with Flooring Contractors and also Main Contractors.

South West, South Wales

At Tradechoice Carpet & Flooring I was responsible for the Specification of CFS products on building projects across the country as well as the South West and South Wales areas. Working with Tier 1 Main Contractors on Framework agreements as well as working with the A&D community. Focus was on building the brand within all sectors as well as Key Account work with Flooring Contractors. I also was involved in product testing and the marketing of products. I worked closely with the marketing department to design sales tools and also to bring together data sheets and technical information. Projects worked on include Glossop Road Student Accommodation in Cardiff and Project Sofia in Exeter.

South West & South Wales

My role as an account manager for Burmatex was to work alongside Architects and Designers across the South West and South Wales territories. I also worked with End Users managing accounts with the MOD and others. I worked closely with Flooring Contractors and also Main Contractors and promoted the brand in the region. Working on projects such as Swansea University Bay Campus.

South West

At Polyflor I covered the South West as a Technical Sales Consultant. I liaised with clients and advised them on all aspects of resilient flooring. I worked closely with A&D professionals as well as working closely with most NHS trusts in the area. I also worked with flooring contractors and distributors forming close relationships within each client base. Salesperson of the year winner and during this time a regional chairperson for the Contract Flooring Association.

Burnham On Sea

Working in a business which was solely focused on domestic flooring, I was responsible for all aspects of the smooth running of the store. My job included pricing and marketing of products, organising fitters, purchasing products, designing advertising copy as well as sales and measure/estimating.
