• Researched and designed a system of pneumatic components to safely speed hazardous waste drainage to save 100+ yearly man-hours, incorporating an intrinsically safe design to transport combustible solvents while engineering safeguards to account for human error and negligence• Developed and implemented a solution to eliminate an ergonomically unsafe task for our manufacturing associates while also saving 60+ yearly hours of machine downtime• Conducted a research study of the production and spread of hazardous LEL’s across production floor, while studying the NFPA guidelines regarding LEL classifications in Class 1 Div and Class 1 Div 2 areas• Assisted in the production of standard operating conditions for new machinery as company transitioned to producing a new core product
