Joined the board shortly after acquiring stake to turnaround the company - served as Chairman December 2012 - November 2013. Within 4 months of becoming Chairman, we had resolved nearly 20 outstanding threatened lawsuits, restructured the balance sheet, avoiding imminent bankruptcy, and improved the operating team to lower operating costs by 40%. Oil prices declined from $120 to $40 and the entire industry collapsed and I pivoted to working on electric cars to end the reign of the internal combustion engine.
