As a project engineer I look after various components of all our projects . I am involved from conception of ideas through to commission of our machines. This includes but is not limited to design, purchasing and manufacturing. however my main duties lie in the manufacturing, particularly cnc machining, fixture manufacture and assembly.

In my role as a pre production engineer , I take a product designed by our in house design team and work with it until it is ready for production. This involves making prototype parts using 3d printing , manual and cnc machines. We will then produce tooling , fixtures , injection mould and overmould tools to produce components in assembly lines. But also utilising my HNC in mechanical engineering to aid design and process engineers in design for manufacture by applying my technical knowledge to their designs to ensure products are made in the most efficient and cost effective ways .
