Ever since I can remember I have always wanted to become an entrepreneur. When I was 12 years old my family and I decided to take a family recipe to market and learn everything that goes into running a business including:• Set annual sales objectives and marketing budgets, managed/planned promotional events, and managed client base for after sales service.• Pre- audit assessments of work area, and maintenance of HACCP plans and applicable controls.• Blending, batching, bottling, and packaging. • Oversight of receivables, payables, and input to monthly P&L.• Assisted with the design, development and implementation of the Muil-E’s Company Quality Manual and related procedures. Experienced gained in internal auditing of processes and procedures.We started out by selling our product in farmer’s markets and eventually grew to selling in 20 local butcher shops and restaurants. In March of 2013 I competed in a competition called Pythons Pit where I managed to place 1st in the high school category. John Romano one of the judges, granted me the opportunity to produce my hot sauce on a larger scale out of his brewery (Nickel brook brewery). Today we continue to make the sauce for friends and family.

As the QA intern my main focus was preparing both Pizza Hut and KFC for internal audits. I was able to learn not just how to perform my given tasks, but also about the value of workplace culture and how positive it can be.
