Throughout my career in DFES starting in 2004 and the previous 5 years with the Royal Australian Army (in an Infantry Battalion) I have worked in many team environments in both training situations and high-pressure real-time incidents. I have always remained calm and thought through problems to reach a safe solution. I am a professional person who is also analytical in my thought process. I am able to adjust and adapt to work through problems, find solutions and achieve goals. I’m able to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.Within DFES I have worked as District Officer Hazmat (2019-2023) , in this position I managed and oversee all policies, procedures and equipment for Hazmat within WA. I represent WA in multiple committee's for Hazmat at the national level, I work closely with different businesses and government agencies in the CBRN area. I'm now working as District Officer Peel (2023 - current) responsible for the CFRS units Mandurah and Rockingham and VFRS Falcon, Mandurah, Secret Harbour and Rockingham. I'm also responsible for the operational response in the Rockingham and Mandurah area.
