I have always had the drive to do what it takes to get the job done. It is my hard work and dedication that has gotten me where I am today. I have moved up the ladder from and entry level postion to management in a few years. I started with Vetter Equipment in 2007 as an entry level technician working on farm equipment. Moved to parts counter when someone retired. In March of 2013, our lawn mower salesman left and I was asked to help with lawn mower sales. Our lawn mower sales have dramatically increased each year I have been in charge of selling them. When our parts manager left, I was moved to a new position as Service Writer in the service department handling all of the warranty claims and parts for the shop while still selling lawn mowers. I also filled in for the service manager during his vacations. Our new parts manager left in the middle of harvest (our busiest time of year) and I was moved to Parts Manager to straighten out our inventory and get back customers lost during previous parts manager. Since taking over the parts department, our line fill has increased, as well as our turn rate. I have also reduced our surplus and obsolete parts. While performing the duties of Parts Manager, I still setup, and sell lawn mowers and utility vehicles. I also still answer questions from the service department office and help newer technicians in the shop. I am the person that everyone comes to for answers.
