As a Mechanical Engineering Technician at Stantec, I worked in the mechanical department and in materials, gaining valuable experience in both fields. I tested concrete, performed mechanical work, and applied manufacturing techniques, using AutoCAD as a key tool. I am a provisional member of the Association of Engineering Technicians and Technologists of Newfoundland and Labrador (AETTNL), and I aspire to become a certified technologist in the future.I graduated from College of the North Atlantic in 2023 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, where I learned the fundamentals of mechanical design, engineering analysis, and problem-solving. I also completed a week-long shipbuilding course provided by Genoa, enhancing my knowledge and skills in this industry. I am passionate about mechanical engineering and eager to learn more and grow in this field. I am looking for opportunities to apply my skills and contribute to innovative and impactful projects.
