I have recently completed my Higher Diploma in Science in Computing & Cybersecurity recieving a First Class Honours (1:1). I am highly motivated and keen to start my career in Cyber security. I strive to improve my knowledge of this area on a daily basis and have always had a keen interest in the IT sector. I am currently an IT and media assistant and have thoroughly enjoyed my time in my current role. I am now aiming to specialise in the field of Cyber security. I believe that one of my best traits is the ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and environments which has allowed me to greatly increase my knowledge within the IT and Cyber security sector in a short space of time. I am excited by the opportunity to learn more in such a promising and ever expanding area. Some keys skills and tools I have acquired include:Linux, Windows, Wireshark, Burpsuite, NMap Metasploitable, TCP, OSI, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, Python, Malware Analysis, Phishing, Pentesting, Digital Forensics.These are skills that I have learned through the completion of my college course, through my workplace and through online resources such as Udemy and TryHackMe. I aim to improve these skills by applying myself and currently use TryHackMe almost daily.All of my jobs to date involved working well as part of a team and maintaining good communication skills. I also have excellent verbal and written skills which were acquired through my English and Marketing degree and have aided me greatly in my work to date. In my current role I have become proficient in many areas of IT including system administration, video editing and communicating with customers via email. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as I use them on a daily basis within my current role. I am seeking an opportunity in the Cyber security field to learn and progress my career.
