First Citizen Finance is a leading provider of Retail Financial Services in the Irish Market, including Car Finance, Agri Finance and CRE lending. Headquartered in Dublin, it employs circa 80 people and provides a range of financial solutions across a diverse asset class.Over five years I worked in numerous departments within First Citizen Finance which has given me extensive knowledge on the daily operations of an established finance firm. I specialised in the New Business department for the majority of my time with First Citizen Finance who are predominantly car finance specialists although begun diversifying there products and markets throughout.My role involved originating, reviewing and processing, customer loan proposals and agreements. Negotiating interest rates and originating the legal documentation specific to the customers application. Developing and maintaining our business relationships with our clients and distributors was imperative to the business. I found the best way to do so involved constant communication between our representatives, garages and fellow staff in order to make a loan application and process as smooth as possible for all parties involved.I've also had to learn to abide by the strict ICB guidelines and regulations while also continuing training and development on key aspects of consumer protection and company polices such as AML, data Protection and Consumer Law. I gained extensive knowledge of the various I.T systems used within the industry both internal and external systems.
