Responsible for managing and maintaining a database of approximately 2500 CFS customers, based in Central Scotland.Principal point of contact for customers should they have queries or issues relating to their products. Appointments were self-generated from the database with approximately 20 meetings each week.Provide customers with a financial review on a six monthly basis and highlighting any areas that they should address regarding protection, pensions and mortgages.Advising customers on savings/investment products, the benefits of different products, establishing their attitudes to risk and helping them achieve savings goals over the medium to long term.

Working within a department looking after Small Self-Administered Schemes. This meant having regular contact with Scheme Trustees, Independent Financial Advisers, Company Directors, Solicitors and Actuaries by telephone and by letter. Preparing Actuarial Valuation Reports for Scheme Trustees on a triennial basis.Dealt with death claims and was part of a project group set up to streamline the settlement process of death claims. This involved regular meetings with other areas of the business and rolling out the new procedures to colleagues in my own team through training and presentations.

Dealing with all aspects of the administration of Executive Pension Plans. This included setting up the Plans, alterations to the Plans during the term and settlement on retirement and on death.Taking calls from Scheme Trustees, Independent Financial Advisers, and Scheme Members regarding the benefits held in the Plans and providing them with fund values, premium details, etc.Part of a two man team dealing with a small portfolio of Small Self-Administered Schemes.
