Senior Civil/Mechanical Project Engineer
Lead Project Engineer, Contracted to help manage a large multi-discipline design team consisting of mechanical, structural, piping design, scheduling, procurement and electrical engineers for an $800M copper concentration facility. The facility will process 6M ton/year of ore utilizing a typical copper sulfide ore process. I was responsible for managing contractual obligations of the project which included resolution of and negotiation of project scope, changes, clarifications and additional work. I was required to travel out of the country for small periods of time to aid in coordinating project progression efforts with the client.Lead Project Design Engineer for the South Valley Sewer District’s $98 million Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility located in Riverton, Utah. This project won the Utah ACEC coveted Grand Conceptor Award for 2013. This 15.0 MGD Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) facility uses GE/Zenon membrane technology equipment to filter wastewater and produce a reuse quality effluent. I was responsible for the plant hydraulic model design and the design of the Influent Pump Station, Headworks Facility, UV Disinfection building and QA/construction review for the Process facility and Dewatering building. I was also responsible for preparation and review of owner procurement pre-purchased equipment packages, and General Contractor pre-qualification packages.On-site resident Project Engineer for the duration of the construction of the Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility in Riverton, Utah. I was responsible for the coordination of design requirements/intent with construction requirements. I acted as liaison for communication and coordination between the contractor, owner and design team. I played a key role for onsite coordination and problem resolution for issues dealing with electrical, instrumentation, mechanical systems and structural items.
Mechanical Field Engineer
As Lead Mechanical Project Engineer on the Point of the Mountain Water Treatment Plant, I coordinated the construction of the Draper, Utah culinary water treatment plant for the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake & Sandy. This $80 million treatment plant with a capacity of 70 MGD expandable to 140 MGD. I was responsible for the design and implementation of seismic restraint systems for the piping and mechanical equipment which included restraint systems for large diameter piping and various chemical distribution piping, storage tanks and miscellaneous equipment.I also midigated constructability issues for many of the complex piping systems and designed the necessary field modifications. I was responsible for the continuing progress of the construction of the complex chemical distribution and storage facilities. Many of my responsibilities included management of the field personnel, field system modifications and overall mechanical system construction, organization and quality control. The plant also consists of ozone facilities, which includes a LOX-GOX system and an ozone injection system for which I was responsible for the field coordination and construction.

Designer of high voltage substations and transmission/distribution systems ranging in voltage from 12.47kV to 345kV. Experience includes structural and civil layout and design, electrical equipment sizing, selecting and specifying, electrical connection and wiring diagrams and schematics. Design and produce construction drawings.
