I've been obsessed with technology my whole life; ever since I was a child, I had to know how things work and what made them tick on the inside. This led into an obsession with cars (and a related foray into the world of machining), to web hosting, but ultimately led me to my current position with Ford's HPC department. I primarily deal with Nastran and LS-DYNA, however I also deal with FEA and safety CAE applications on a daily basis. I look forward to both the challenges that we will face in the future, and the ways in which we will overcome them as a society through leveraging technology in a responsible manner.
