Operations Engineering:- Generation of multiple SOPs and JSAs for operator use and training- Process optimization to reduce ergonomic risk to operators, down time, and fixed cost Process Engineering:- Air dryer installation to remove humidity from compressed air lines. Designed system which included equipment placement and floor loading, pipe routing, and valve selection.- Water bath installation to cool thermoplastic polyurethane slabs. Worked with civil company to design platform for equipment, calculated pipe sizes for desired flow rate for heat exchangers, and designed exhaust system to remove excess humidity and hot air- Pneumatic conveying system design for transfer of combustible dust. Redesigned powder addition system to remove operator interaction and eliminated airborne explosive dust hazard. Designed pipe routing and worked closely with pneumatic conveying company to achieve best transfer rates. Also redesigned existing XP rated dust collector system to fit new application.Project Management:-Obtained quotes for project from multiple vendors to bid and keep project on budget- Wrote POMs and routed for project approval- Determined project justification and ROI- Took project through safety review and project start up step review (PSSR)

- Executed solid and liquid dosage experiments with products such as Imodium, Tylenol, and Benadryl- Operated pilot plant equipment for scale up experiments along with interacting with full scale equipment to determine process parameters and test for microbial contamination- Communicated with J&J locations in Latina, Italy and Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to organize and analyze data- Reported findings of experiments in official documents that were reviewed and approved by Quality Assurance
