Assist with the evaluation and triage of cases referred to Threat Management Services for appropriate investigation and also serves as a Law Enforcement Victim Advocate by conducting victim services follow-up.

Provide law enforcement, security, and protection for the University of SC community and property. These are certified police officers in accordance with SC Code of Laws, empowered with full arrest and police authority statewide. Enforce state laws, NAC rules and regulations, and University rules and regulations. Executes duties of a patrol officer, provides VIP detail security and assists with critical incidents.

Reviews internal and external incident reports to determine which individuals require victim assistance Contacts victims and witnesses to identify any unmet needsDirects victims and witnesses to other campus and community resources as appropriateAssists with patrol, VIP/ dignitary protection details, and other assignments as needed

Assist patrol officers in a non-sworn capacity with non-urgent duties and calls such as securing property and reporting suspicious activity to ensure safety of campus.
