During my years at New Mexico State University, my main intentions were to learn and expand my knowledge of multiple fields as much as possible. While earning my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Business, I was also able to earn three minors in Business Administration, Economics and Marketing. Through my studies I was able to broaden the way I dissected data and consumed knowledge, allowing me to grow in critical thinking and analysis of process of business and management styles. Some of my favorite courses were those dealing with finances and case studies, because it would enable me to make a decision based on actual facts and numbers presented. Allowing guidance for those seeking it to better their lives, finances, and decisions where they may find trouble doing so alone. Balancing a workload has not always been easy, however I have been able to make it work. While at New Mexico State, I was a member of the Division 1 baseball team. While spending days, sometimes weeks, on the road traveling all over the country competing at the highest collegiate sports level, I was able to maintain above proficient class work and tests scores within my classes to graduate in the top of my department. Also earning the Outstanding Departmental Student award and multiple Deans Honor roll awards. The most beneficial part of being on a collegiate sports team is learning your role within a team setting. I have been lucky enough and worked hard to become a great leader, mostly through example and hard work, while possessing a great motivational character trait. I believe that from the years of hard work in sports, determination in studies, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once I have successfully set myself up to join any business team and make immediate impact to a company.
