Project Manager for Metal Additive Manufacturing. Specialized in Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM), AM support structure design, metal AM post processing, and laser parameter development. Engineering Lead of the Precision ADM CANSWAB, Canada's first Health Canada approved nasopharyngeal swab for Covid-19 testing. Launched a 100+ SLA printer production cell capable of producing over 25,000 swabs per day.

Led a project to review the calibration techniques used for the data acquisition systems across StandardAero's gas turbine engine test cells and developed calibration work instructions and record-keeping documentation. Reviewed test cell sensor capabilities and system accuracy requirements against customer and industry specifications.

Led a team of 50+ students through the design, manufacturing, testing, and competitions for the 2015/2016 University of Manitoba Formula SAE Racecars. • Guided vehicle design through concept development, concept selection, and final design phases• Developed and implemented the team project management plan; included setting performance targets, team roles, timelines, documentation, and overseeing team communication• Oversaw vehicle testing using sensors and data acquisition technology to validate designs and set performance baselines• Managed the team the budget, financials, and industry/sponsor relations• Led the team to a 10th place overall finish at the 2015 Lincoln FSAE Competition out of 66 international Universities; the best finish in the history of the U of M team

Led the design and manufacturing of the braking, uprights (steering knuckle), and wheel hub assemblies for the 2014 UMSAE Formula Car. Used kinematic vehicle loading calculations and FEA to optimize the assemblies for weight and stiffness. Oversaw manufacturing with collaboration from local machine shops and led a student-team to fabricate and assemble the components. Presented the designs at the 2014 Formula SAE competitions to a panel of automotive industry experts.

Worked on the implementation of an automated 6-axis robotic manufacturing process for the Joint Strike Fighter program. Wrote robotic motion programs, conducted design of experiments, and performed capability studies. Programmed an automated 2D vision system for detecting manufacturing flaws in composite panels.

Conducted a feasibility analysis of a 4'x4' Fan Filtered Unit (FFU) that included the design, manufacturing, and testing of a functional prototype. Developed the CAD and technical drawings and worked with production and suppliers to fabricate the test unit. Implemented process improvements on the FFU assembly line to reduce manufacturing time and errors.

Collaborated with medical physicists, electrical engineers, and machinists, to develop a novel, full-scale prototype CT-scanner for cancer detection. Responsible for the design, CAD, technical drawings, manufacturing, and testing of the CT-scanner C-arm, gearing, and motor systems.
