● Worked with teams to design, document, install, and debug new forming equipment into factories in Hefei, China; Shanghai, China; and Erwin, New York. This equipment was used to extrude and cut logs for catalytic converter honeycomb substrates and gas particulate filters in automobiles.● During installation, instructed electricians on wiring control panels and sensors, verified sensors, updating and programming HMIs, incorporated new equipment into plant networks, and verified PLC code and process tags for proper operation.● Traveled to vendors within New York to check equipment is working properly before being delivered to sites.● Traveled to China for installation of a new production line, October 2019 - January 2020.

• Created and documented designs for various electrical and controls projects in AutoCAD Electrical. Designs complied with NFPA 79. • Constructed bill of materials, procured quotes and placed orders to vendors for projects. Assembled projects with the assistance of electrical engineers and electricians. Developed programs using Studio 5000 for Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs. Programmed and configured Watlow PID controllers.• Experienced trouble shooting with physical components and programs on machines on the floor and my own projects.
