- Spearheaded the redesign and implementation of pivotal workflows at RMS, enhancing scalability, performance, and cost efficiency on a larger scale. Workflows commonly handle large scale data sets that could not previously be processed at all or in a sufficient runtime..- Collaborated closely with product teams and testers to deliver desired features, consistently surpassing runtime expectations by large margins.- Proactively build processes which allow ease of testing while simultaneous implementing features to achieve parity with other RMS services.- Continuously sought optimization opportunities for my team's services, resulting in faster runtimes, lower memory usage, reduced costs, and expedited issue debugging.- Led the expansion and optimization of testing initiatives within my team, introducing features that facilitated automated test generation based on previous job runs. This automation led to the creation of regression test suites, resulting in a notable 3-day reduction in regression testing time. The automated test generation not only improved debugging processes but also enhanced bug reproduction turnover.- Architected and implemented a flexible modeling framework pivotal to RMS's accumulation engine, catering to both existing and future features.- Engineered services and APIs for RMS's accumulation engine, concurrently redesigning components to enhance service isolation.- Expanded on / created internal tools for my team which improved our quality of life as developers as well as enhanced developer experience: dashboards to inspect jobs, automated alerts for job failures or metrics, various automation flows, common libraries used by our team.- Mentor team members on various projects developed by our team

Software Engineer Intern
Professional Co-Op / Intern, Outage Management
At FirstEnergy when I moved to the Outage Management team I began doing developent in ASP.NET MVC / Angular working with both Oracle databases and SQL database. Some of my tasks include rebuilding existing applications that need to be brought up to speed on current security and template standards. Also work closely with the business to fulfill requests and make sure any application I recreate is to there liking.
Professional Co-Op / Intern, Ms Development
During the Summer of 2018 I transferred to the MS Development Team to expand my knowledge of standards put in place by the MS Development team and the process of creating web based business applications. While on this team I worked on a scrum team to develop web-based business applications that were previously manual processes. These applications were built using Angular 6 with and ASP.NET Web API (OData) as the back end.
Professional Co-Op / Intern, Sap Support
My work at FirstEnergy has been very different than anything I have ever work on before. At FirstEnergy I worked in SAP doing ABAP development. I would need to complete projects by updating the previously created code. There are many programs in SAP that was custom made so there are many different updates to be made as FirstEnergy advances. This experience has been so unique because SAP and ABAP are so different from anything else it really has been a learning experience. I needed to learn how to write ABAP code as well as work with the business side.
Network Engineer Intern
I worked on the Network engineer team setting up audio conferences. I started off setting up audio conferences by hand but I had the idea to automate this process. I was then able to write a script using Java and Selenium to automate this entire process. My script has been implemented into production and is being used by my old team to set up audio conferences.
