- Primary responsibility of developing on our product, MIM, a medical image viewing application- Work directly with customers to develop integrations between them and MIM. Developing java applications, that runwithin MIM, for these customers allowing these customers to have a higher level of integration with MIM. As well asallowing for automation that was not previously possible.- Implement FHIR client within MIM to allow for MIM to communicate with FHIR servers. Integrating support formultiple versions of FHIR so that regardless of the server MIM will be able to communicate with it. Focus on building afoundation that can be easily expanded on as support is added for additional FHIR resources.- Develop a method for customers to be able to fill out FHIR Questionnaires, forms, within MIM. Integrating this newfeature with MIM’s own FHIR server to further enhance the user experience.- Implement a Web API to allow for communication with The MIM Assistant, an automation tool. Aid in definingstandards that will be used as additional Web API’s are built for interfacing with MIM products.

At FirstEnergy when I moved to the Outage Management team I began doing developent in ASP.NET MVC / Angular working with both Oracle databases and SQL database. Some of my tasks include rebuilding existing applications that need to be brought up to speed on current security and template standards. Also work closely with the business to fulfill requests and make sure any application I recreate is to there liking.

During the Summer of 2018 I transferred to the MS Development Team to expand my knowledge of standards put in place by the MS Development team and the process of creating web based business applications. While on this team I worked on a scrum team to develop web-based business applications that were previously manual processes. These applications were built using Angular 6 with and ASP.NET Web API (OData) as the back end.

My work at FirstEnergy has been very different than anything I have ever work on before. At FirstEnergy I worked in SAP doing ABAP development. I would need to complete projects by updating the previously created code. There are many programs in SAP that was custom made so there are many different updates to be made as FirstEnergy advances. This experience has been so unique because SAP and ABAP are so different from anything else it really has been a learning experience. I needed to learn how to write ABAP code as well as work with the business side.

I worked on the Network engineer team setting up audio conferences. I started off setting up audio conferences by hand but I had the idea to automate this process. I was then able to write a script using Java and Selenium to automate this entire process. My script has been implemented into production and is being used by my old team to set up audio conferences.
