•Respond to Local Development Plan Consultations on behalf of Southern Water, utilising company, regulatory and planning policies & procedures. •Work with Local Authorities on their development plans, identifying infrastructure investment needs associated with growth & new development over a 5-25 year investment period. •Support planning policy interfaces with Southern Water stakeholders including local authorities, stakeholder groups and developers. •Contribute to maintaining the view of development and growth for the defined region, helping Southern Water to plan for the future.•Contribute to helping minimise the number of planning conditions that Southern Water requests Local Authorities to impose on planning applications.•Carry out background research necessary to scope possible ‘issues and options’ aligned to water and wastewater provisions in local plans. •Contribute to Southern Water planning activities, providing input on development and growth by quantifying the locations, timing and scope of development, and representing stakeholder views.•Co-ordinate the representation of company views from across the Southern Water, to help inform future investment plans for growth. •Work closely with the Developer Services to share knowledge and plans for growth in each region.

Leading a team of Emergency Planners in creating and embedding an incident response framework within Southern Water, including rotas, emergency plans, debriefs and tactical level relationship management with external stakeholders, such as Local Councils & other Water Companies

Managing a team of Customer Relations Case Handlers, with their team leaders as my direct reports. The team managed written complaints & enquiries pertaining to Water & Wastewater in line with the OFWAT Service Incentive Mechanism. I also directly managed a team of Customer Case Leads in providing long term relationship management for a portfolio of high profile customers vulnerable to long standing issues, such as external or internal wastewater flooding at their property.

Leading a team of 22 Wastewater Treatment & Pumping Station Operatives, and Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, in meeting regulatory serviceability targets, within a budget of over 1 Million pounds.
