Responsible for specalist training for Matrix Disruption & Roads Policing for circa 230 officers. Providing a comprehensive CPD and induction programmes, development of new training material, support assessment of key skills. Provide oversight of the departments structure, vacancies, moves for circa 400 personnel. Responsible for the specalist equipment portfolio and budget. Responsible for internal communications and introduction of the forces people strategy into the department.

Operational Roads Policing Sergeant, Investiagtions Sergeant, Serious Collision Investigation Sergeant.Senior Investigating Officer for fatal and life changing RTCs, responsible for overall investigation, development of relevant strategies, manage all gathered material, put in place comprehensive victim support strategies. Work with partners such as local authorities, coroners, CPS, courts, medical and civil partners.Review officer responsible for constructively evaluating fatal and serious RTC investigations to ensure compliance with national standards, identify good practice or learning.Daily line management to team of officers, supervise 24/7 roads policing response in line with SLA's to RTCs, tackling criminality on the road network. Involved in NWMPG collaboration with other forces and National Highways.

Responsible for police led prosecutions and the supervision of the prosecution team. Review cases and make charging decsions in line with the Directors Charging Guidance.
