The name “Outdoor Living” was chosen due to my passion for creating outdoor living spaces. We encourage our clients to interact with their new landscape and truly use them as an extension to their home.With an eye on the natural and aesthetic identity of Michigan, we design and build locally appropriate landscapes rich in color, texture, aroma, with a natural symbiosis with the environment.Each site presents a unique personality and challenge. Owner, Ryan Payment is a Michigan State University Alumni within the department of Horticulture – Landscape Design. Ryan Payment is the designer, with 20 years of field experience. We also work closely with independent landscape designers and architects.Build:With our own experienced designer, horticulturist, stone, and brick specialist, you can be assured that from design through completion, we will customize your landscape to achieve its full potential. Our core values include customer service, continual innovation, attention to detail, and flawless execution.Maintain: Every landscape needs to be maintained to achieve its full potential. Along with mulching, and fertilization, we also offer a custom maintenance program; including weeding, pruning, dead heading, and monitoring the health of the plantings. Annual plantings in the landscape and in decorative pots can be provided seasonally as well.(Although we do not offer mowing services to our clients, we do have a few high quality contractors that we recommend to our clients)
