I’m on a mission to supercharge the national security-industrial partnerships that underpin America’s defense and economic vitality. This issue transcends verticals and business models and I am excited to join a new team that spans the Nation tackling and solving these problems. Prior to Shift, and leading the Defense Ventures program, I was privileged to serve in the US Navy. The opportunity to lead teams in real-world operations ranging from hydrographic survey operations in South America, support to civil authorities after natural disasters in the US, to directing contingency support operations in the Middle East shaped who I am today. The common themes throughout my career were remaining resilient and adaptable through complex situations while being able to clearly communicate both the needs of my team and employ solution-based thinking to the problems we encountered.If you are a veteran who is exploring tech or just looking for a sounding board as you transition from service please reach out!
