Currently a Process Engineer with Chevron Phillips Chemical Company in Borger, TX. Providing technical support for the Commercial Products Unit (CPU) and assisted in a successful 2023 Turnaround.My previous experience in the refining industry includes an environmental engineering internship which provided the opportunity for me to contribute to an active maintenance turnaround. This introduction to refining fueled my passion to continue pursuing employment opportunities within the petroleum refining industry. I then worked as process engineer intern at the CHS McPherson refinery where I developed a safety instrumented system (SIS) for their Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit. I also had the opportunity to analyze the wash water system of the FCC unit to assist in preventing alkaline carbonate stress corrosion cracking.While attending Colorado School of Mines, I was an active member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, Undergraduate Student Government, Interfraternity Council, and a student member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. These helped me learn how to manage time, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team. I had the privilege to be an executive board member within the Interfraternity Council at Colorado school of Mines. This allowed me to grow as a leader and better understand how to efficiently organize different functions and events.
