After finishing highschool, I went to college for a year and a half studying mining engineering and management. I completed advanced math courses, troubleshooting classes, as well as explosives usage and other safety training. Along with this further education and studies, I held jobs with an emphasis on human relations and communication, these being my jobs as a swim instructor and coach. In addition to providing leadership experience, my job at the City of Champlin Public Works taught me about hands-on problem solving on the job site by repairing and maintaining motor vehicles and installing piping for water lines. My favorite thing to do is look at a problem or an malfunctioning piece of equipment and figure out how to get it to work. I grew up using hands-on troubleshooting and creativity to solve problems; to this day puzzle solving is what I enjoy doing.
