, my current role as an All-Rounder Concreter harnesses my competencies in construction supervision, carpentry, and reinforced concrete. With 28 years of experience in concrete construction, starting in 1996 with S&R concrete. Doing high end houses (Dalkeith, Peppermint Grove) I got a solid foundation in set outs , organising pours , steel fixing. Then doing fifo for Remote Area Concrete (Roger Osborne) in 2003. 6/1 swings. Where I learnt formwork, steel fixing, earthmoving, civil concrete. Concrete batching and mobilising from site to site. Then I transitioned back to Perth work when my mother was dying. Worked for AT concrete(Tony Terranova)as a Concretor. I then worked for Northfields Pty LTd as a concrete foreman. On and off for 10 years. As projects dictated. I then ran my own business in partnership with my father Gilbert Pollock. Employing 6/9 people for 5 years. That ended with the housing crash. I then worked for WA concrete doing a reverse osmosis plant at Roy Hill. Moving to Kalgoorlie I worked for Flanco PTY LTD on and off for 7 years. Where I honed my skills in all aspects of the concrete construction process. I've swiftly adapted to the demands of the industry, contributing to the team's efforts in delivering quality construction. My hands-on experience provides a solid foundation for supervising projects and ensuring structural excellence. Although my formal education is not disclosed, the skills I've honed on-site have become my educational cornerstone, equipping me with the practical knowledge essential in the construction landscape.
