Personally responsible for intraocular lens design, material selection, bio-compatibility, and biomechanics in close collaboration with Doctor of Optometry.Currently in process of working with attorney on lens design (patent pending).

Completed and presented Senior Design Project involving design of compact, rechargeable, battery-operated inflator and digital controls package using rotary vane style pump for compression. Performed SolidWorks rendering and testing to gather empirical data and meet inflation time constraints. Completed and presented additional project and report on comprehensive analysis of design and cost of duct system for nitrogen gas transportation. Worked with design specifications, including given length of straight duct, number of duct bends, constant delivery and supply pressure, and given volumetric flow rate. Calculated total head loss for various duct diameters to determine necessary fan head rise to meet design requirements.
