My name is Ryan and I’m 29 years old. Most of my young adult life was spent managing restaurants. I’ve gained tons of transferable skills while operating million dollar corporations and loved the knowledge and experiences I had while working in this field. Recently, I decided to change careers and go back to school. I'm currently in my third year working towards my Bachelors Degree in Behavioural Psychology. I also hold a diploma in General arts and science related to abnormal Psychology and substance abuse counselling.In the past, I volunteered my time for 3 years on a board for an Ontario based organization as an advisor for adults living with physical and psychological disorders. During the second year placement for my program I worked in a public school as a Behaviour Analyst. I also worked as a counsellor for homeless youth. Currently, I am working as a Chef in a French restaurant. All of these positions require the skills I have obtained over the years of experience and education. Outside of work in my personal life, I'm a registered and dedicated Canadian musician. I play Bass Guitar and sing in a rock n roll band that plays frequent shows and writes original music available on all platforms.I am a passionate person that always wants to thrive and do more, after I finish my Bachelor's I plan to jump into a Master's program for counselling psychology, and perhaps go even further to achieve a PhD in Clinical Psychology.Thank you so much for your time, I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
