Ryan Pruitt joined FM as an employee in 2006 and assumed the role of General Manager in 2008. His travels through fifteen European countries as a musician introduced him to the community culture of local cafes; past employment with Starbucks and Coffee Beanery gave him a strong background in the business of selling coffee. Under Pruitt’s leadership, the original FM increased sales by 4x and experienced significantly improved operating margins, net income, and cash flow. He has directed the expansion of the physical facilities, the ongoing evolution of the menu and service systems, and the addition of vertically-integrated coffee roasting and bakery operations.
