This person is responsible for coordinating the instructional laboratories in the MEAM Dept. The employee oversees and seeks to improve MEAM instructional laboratory facilities and conducts instruction and interacts with instructors to identify their instructional needs. This includes developing new laboratory instructional modules and equipment, repurposing existing labs, and personnel management. This includes of coordinating access to all MEAM labs, creating and managing training and safety courses for faculty and students, and working with faculty to develop experimental and educational facilities related to manufacturing, rapid prototyping, and the mechanical engineering curriculum. Additional responsibilities include the maintenance and upkeep of current lab equipment, oversight of outreach and promotional efforts related to the MEAM labs, and purchase of laboratory and shop supplies, equipment, and services

Mentor students in the design and manufacture of prototypes for engineering classes. Responsible for learning areas in the mechanical building to include all aspects of safety, proper use of experimental equipment, tools and instruments. Maintain & teach operation of 3-D printers to students. Designed and renovated Engineering areas in Mechanical Department.

Managed numerous renovation projects individually and as team member. Tasks included design layout, general construction and project management. Final project involved assisting with construction of a dininghall and housing complex.
