I am a Fire Controlman Aegis at US Navy, with over five years of experience in working on the fire control system and the 400 Hz system, as well as other equipment and systems on the ship. My mission is to ensure the optimal performance and functionality of these systems, and to support the safety and readiness of the ship and its crew.As a FCS and 400 Hz technician, I have overseen the installation of three FCS antennas, and assisted in bringing the 400 Hz system online after three years of being offline. I have also headed the restoration of the DCC, Transmitter Group, and Director Controller Group after the ship's four-year yards period. Additionally, I have skills in gauge calibration, repair parts, training, and damage control, which enable me to handle multiple roles and responsibilities on the ship. I have calibrated over 300 gauges and torque wrenches, ordered and tracked 250 crucial parts, trained 50 sailors in over 20 areas, and fixed various equipment and systems related to damage control. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid by Red Cross, which adds to my value as a technician and a team member.
