About Ryan Ragland
I am a human geneticist, cancer and molecular biologist with training in bioinformatics. I believe my training as oncology research leader with an extensive career in the academic setting and six years of experience in two different start-up biotech companies provides me with a strong foundation for the management of complex research projects as well as research teams within the private sector. These objectives are supported by my creativity in problem solving, by my persistence in tackling ambitious research problems, and by my collaborative nature. I have diverse experience working on molecular targets involved in the cell cycle, cancer development, DNA damage checkpoints, cell survival and programmed cell death, as well as experience working with mouse models of cancer.
