Current· Focused on internal combustion engines and electric generators, gaining hands on experience in design, testing, and improvement initiatives to enhance product performance. · Utilized Altair software to strategically place strain gauges for optimal measurement, subsequently employing these gauges on diesel engines to analyze strain patterns and predict potential product failures.· Conducted applied failure analysis (AFA) to diagnose and improve reliability of failed diesel and natural gas engine parts in field operations, enhancing equipment uptime and performance.· Designed and implemented improvements to electric generator sets, including the development of a current sensing harness to transmit 3-phase power data to the Electrical Control System (ECS), optimizing monitoring capabilities.· Redesigned electrical components within generator control panels to resolve critical issues experienced by Amazon Web Services (AWS) when using our product. Integrated a DC-DC converter, mitigating electronic failures during engine cranking and stabilizing voltage supplied to the newly integrated Human Machine Interface (HMI), thereby ensuring product readiness for an August 2024 deadline.
