Design and modify engine components to support all of JDPS for parts from 1940 to today. Evaluate deviation requests from suppliers through collaboration to ensure parts are made to print or will perform as an OEM part is required. Lead design reviews, DPARS, supplier audits. Create and release Engineering Changes through the necessary workflow to ensure parts are readily available at our parts depots and dealers. Support our JDPS SPO buyers and planners for all engineering and quality questions. Assist in service parts inventory control by reviewing parts for obsolescence possibilities and part proliferation. Assist in cost reduction projects by analyzing the engineering requirements. Liaison for multiple factories including Coffeyville, Saran, Torreon, Rosario, JDRS, Waterloo Engine Works, and China. Define the obsolescence procedure and policy for JDPS and conduct a proliferation project on an annual basis. Manage upwards of 100 projects in parallel. Manage engine inventory and shelf life of complete engines at PDC. Manage resourcing projects in collaboration with buyers, ensuring all the technical aspects such as PV&V testing, metallurgy and PPAP requirements are met. Collaborate daily with CI Engineering, PV&V, Customer Support, Metallurgy, OFP/PDP/Service Buyers, Order fulfillment amongst many other facets of the business to ensure our customers are getting the highest quality OEM parts on time, when needed.

Leading JDPS Division process expertise in product data management and coordinating the implementation of enterprise solutions that ensure alignment and integration with business partners. Travel globally to all of our engine factories in Mexico, France, Argentina, China and Waterloo to collect data, train, facilitate testing and rollout new and modify existing tools to ensure the proper tools are in place to enable the business to be efficient and ensure we are providing our products at the right time with the best tools.

I integrate all series John Deere engines into our Construction & Forestry applications. I work with the partner on identifying there needs and convey that back to our design teams within JDPS to engineer the components necessary to meet the needs of our partner. Currently across all emission tiers (SII, Tier 3, IT4 and FT4) I maintain over 65 engine models.

Designed application specific components for 2.4L, 3.0L, 4.5L, 6.8L, 9.0L and 13.5L diesel engines. Working with John Deere internal partners and OEM customers. Using Pro Engineer I designed components such as exhaust manifolds, flywheels, flywheel housings, oil pans, fuel lines, oil lines, cast brackets, sheet metal brackets, venturi mountings, auxillary drives, dipsticks, oil caps, basically anything external on a diesel engine. I am Six Sigma Green & Black Belt certified (DFSS) along with a Green belt through the DMAIC methodology.
