The vision of Electric Works is to develop, through a public-private partnership, the former GE campus into a mixed-use district of innovation, energy, and culture offering office, retail, residential, hotel, and entertainment uses.Electric Works includes 39 acres, 18 historic buildings and more than 1.2 million sq.ft. of space for office, educational, innovation, retail, residential, hotel and entertainment uses across 4 phases.RTM is currently developing West Campus Phase 1, consisting of 712,000 sq.ft. across 19.2 acres. Office uses include a 70,000 sq.ft. innovation center offering programming and flexible lease terms for creators and aspiring entrepreneurs. The West Campus plan also calls for 85 market rate apartments, a public market and food hall.As the development manager I coordinate with the general contractor, environmental engineer, Indiana Department of Environmental Management and National Park Service for the completion of the environmental abatement and lead paint removal of the 19 acre West Campus Phase 1. Responsibilities include property acquisition, site and building design, utility improvements,permitting and coordination with the city, state and federal government for approvals. In conjunction with my other teammates I oversee the overall management of the project site including community activities, concerts/festivalsand coordination with surrounding organizations.

I utilitized my civil engineering background to manage and value engineer many aspects of every project including site development, drainage design and earthwork manipulation while working with the consultants to insure the best result for each residential complex. As Development Manager I oversaw project timeline and permitting and jurisdictional communication of The Garrett Company’s clients. My mission was to ensure a seamless and successful project through completion.

As Project Manager at EMH&T in Indianapolis I oversaw a variety of projects in the transportation, residential, and commercial industry. Other responsibilities at EMH&T included inspection of sewer rehabilitation projects, conceptual planning, entitlement, construction documents and administration, cost analysis and federal, state and local permitting for multiple sites.
