I led a team of talented software engineers, quality assurance testers, and mentored semi-annual cohorts of up to six programming interns from Epicodus. Red & Co. is a boutique advertising agency founded in Portland, Oregon. I provided contract software engineering and program manager support to Red & Co. via a personally owned limited liability company called Mash LLC. I was responsible for leading all software projects and upholding Agile development principles while managing a team of between two and five software engineers. I bid and drafted project proposals as well as coordinated the execution of many Service Level Agreements and Statements of Work. A few of my accomplishments included:➢ Successfully delivered the website and interactive game applications for the Google Made with Code project which was featured on the homepage of Google in 2014.➢ Successfully delivered and presented a refreshed web experience to the Sun Valley Museum of Art board of directors and high value stakeholders which directly resulted in immediate donations of $100k following the presentation. ➢ Successfully migrated a client’s legacy content management system with over 1,000 pages from Net Community to Drupal and expanded the web infrastructure from a single server to a load balanced distribution equipped with Varnish and a dedicated database, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

I started working as a contract web developer and was responsible for managing and developing the company Ecommerce website using Magento. I grew into the company and my job role changed multiple times, eventually becoming the IT & Web Director. I had responsibility over the entire company technology infrastructure including Windows servers, network equipment, VOIP phones, fulfillment hardware, and desktop computers.
