 Produce quotations for port costs, accurate and detailed time logs, as well as preparing manifests and bills of lading for cargo loaded and discharged. Send regular information updates throughout port call to principals and any parties concerned. Complete Inward and outward cargo declarations for submission to UK Customs.  Lodge documents received with HMRC for inbound spares and freight. Arrange Immigration clearance, transportation and accommodation for crew. Provide large cash transfers for paying crew wages. Board vessels during all hours both alongside and on occasion at anchor via a launch. Ensure good communication and team work by holding regular ops meetings and ensure good co-ordination with other branches. Ensure all third party invoices are accurate and received promptly for preparation of disbursement accounts. Compile monthly statistical records for business trends and revenue details. To oversee the reconciliation of office petty cash and cheque returns. Responsibility for Office Health and Safety. As well as PPE requirements. Responsibility for Office maintenance and risk assessments and fire checks.  Create a working Rota for staff to ensure everyone gets equal time off and opportunity to earn overtime. Provide training to new staff on the use of company systems and software.
