Houston, Tx.

Combining solid work experience at top firms with a competitive education has given me the tools to succeed in the sales, marketing, design and product development of carpets and textiles. I design, manufacture, import and market a collection of original hand woven carpets that are sold through our Houston and Dallas locations as well as the Texas region at large. My goal is to build a production of custom carpets with virtually unlimited design and production capabilities, that can be used successfully in almost any application. My role at Carol Piper Rugs has been instrumental in transforming the business from an antique rug store to a company that sells a multi faceted array of floor covering products to the architecture and designer communities.

At Carini Lang I worked with architects and interior designers in the New York metro area to sell large custom site-specific hand woven Tibetan carpets in residential and commercial applications. Working hand-in-hand with our manufacturing team in Nepal allowed me actively develop new designs with my customers for high value custom projects. Through listening to my clients and understanding the requirements of the project and the capabilities of the product I was able to build strong customer loyalty as well as increase the sales revenue of, what was at the time, a very new company.

New York City

While at Michaelian and Kohlberg I was responsible for all showroom sales to the Interior Design and Architecture community in the greater New York metropolitan area. In order to effectively drive revenue I regularly called on clients outside of the showroom in addition to growing in house sales. Brand awareness was a crucial responsibility and I was tasked with managing the company's inventory of artist-designed Tibetan carpets to ensure that current product was always in front of our clientele.
