At my core I love People and everything I do is ultimately in service of bettering those around me and the members who we work for. I have extensive and broad knowledge of Private Health Insurance and the role it plays in the health system, including hospital contracts, front end customer service operations, application and interpretation of the PHI act and Broader Health Cover provider and member relations. I have spoken to people who have shared terminal diagnosis, simple fears over minor or major (but always major to them) surgeries, discussed palliative care options with family members and have mentored staff to have the same health services, holistic and ultimately human, focussed conversations.I love striving to be a leader who knocks down barriers for their team and who works with them, rather than against. I thrive off empowering others and there is nothing better to me than being able to say "I agree. Do it!" to someone who has owned a complicated situation and approached me with a solution.
