In my most recent role as a Software Developer, I served as a key player in a dynamic team, where my responsibilities were centred around orchestrating a seamless media content distribution process. My primary focus was on leveraging Dot Net C# to build fast and powerful APIs that ensured efficient data flow and processing. We use a React frontend written with Javascript and Typescript to build an intuitive user interface with a fast responsive user experience. Deploying on AWS, I harnessed the power of various tools to optimize system performance. Amazon EC2 facilitated scalable computing power, while S3 ensured secure and scalable storage for media assets. Cognito played a pivotal role in managing user identities, Lambda functions enabled serverless computing, and serverless frameworks streamlined the deployment process. Containerized images further enhanced portability and consistency across different environments.My ability to navigate and integrate these tools seamlessly contributed to an agile and reliable infrastructure, ensuring that media content was efficiently transcoded, quality-checked, and compliant with industry standards.
