I am responsible for the development, growth, and management of a Natural & Cultural Resources group supporting JMT’s Texas operations. JMT’s NCR practice consists of approximately 80 environmental professionals including, environmental scientists, planners, ecologists, biologists, habitat restoration specialists, NEPA specialists, archaeologists, architectural historians, and GIS specialists. While establishing and growing an environmental market presence in Texas, Mr. Robol’s primary responsibilities include client development and management, proposal preparation, marketing, staff supervision, agency and stakeholder coordination, and project execution, including meeting project scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

At Spirit Environmental, I am responsible for managing the Public Infrastructure & Land Development business unit for the company. My duties include marketing and business development, client relations, project scoping and proposal development, staff and budget management, technical review, and QA/QC of deliverables. I also perform scientific field surveys, prepare technical reports, and mentor and train junior staff in subject matter for which I am an expert (i.e., NEPA Documentation, Wetland Delineation, USACE Permitting, Impact Assessment, Ecological Modeling, Ecological Mitigation, and Listed Species Assessments). Market areas served include land-based transportation, ports and marine, land development, and petrochemicals.

During my tenure at Crouch Environmental, I managed the Natural Resources service line for approximately four years. The group that I managed typically consisted of three to six staff, including biologists and GIS staff. I was responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the workload, including wetland preliminary assessments, wetland delineations, wetland and ecological modeling, wetland mitigation, wetland compliance consultations, Section 10/404 permitting, state submerged land permitting, threatened and endangered species assessments, species specific surveys of protected flora/fauna, oyster/seagrass surveys, preparation of NEPA documentation, Section 7 consultations, Biological Assessments, Essential Fish Habitat evaluations, and stormwater sampling and compliance. Market areas served include land-based transportation, ports and marine transportation, aviation, residential/commercial/industrial land development, and oil & gas.
