• Provide leadership, direction and ongoing coaching and training to direct staff.
• Ensure the security and safety of the Shopping Center’s 1 million square feet, over 200 retailers and thousands of patrons by overseeing that all standing orders and scheduled daily assignments are carried out as.
• Preliminary testing and interviews of Security candidates
• Operate as a member for Joint Occupational Health and Safety
• Scheduling (operate within budgetary boundaries), Payroll, and Administrative Tasks
• Training to new and existing staff as required.

• Provide leadership, direction and ongoing coaching and training to 10 guards and 1 Shift Supervisor
• Ensure the security and safety of the hospital and site employees by overseeing that all standing orders and scheduled daily activities are carried out as required.
• Interview Security candidates
• Investigate security incidents and construct detailed written reports
• Produce and update Security Procedures and Occupational Health and Safety Manuals
• Completing monthly statistics reports to monitor patrol and incident trends

• Conduct proactive and reactive foot patrols
• Respond to coded emergencies
• Conduct searches of facility for persons/patients
• Respond to threats and acts against property assets
• Provide front line deterrence against violence in Mental Health Units
• Provide door and control access/egress
