In my role as an Exercise Physiologist, I was part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of a DC, PT, PTA and LMT. We worked primarily with patients who are diagnosed with subacute or chronic orthopedic injuries resulting in neurologic pain. I was tasked with daily evaluation of my patients’ biomechanics, range of motion, musculoskeletal strength and endurance, as well as pain symptomology. I provided home exercise programs, progressed the patient's plan of care, provided soft tissue manipulation and massage in accordance with my staff Physical Therapist's diagnosis of the patient's injury. I was responsible for patient documentation, scheduling, marketing, and daily clinical operations.
