I worked at a Syracuse University lab where we designed, tested and developed a device that non-invasively detects internal bleeding via spectroscopy of one's finger.Key Contributions and Accomplishments:-Wrote an algorithm based on Bayes' Theorem using 5 vital sign data streams that can inform medical professionals whether internal bleeding is occurring-Developed technology that can inform medical personnel of internal bleeding-Designed and constructed a tangible, wearable and working device -Lead a team of 3 throughout the design and development process -Was chosen to present this technology at the Naval Academy Science and Engineering Conference for its relevancy to military applications

I was promoted to building manager of the Schine Student Center, a building with over 6 restaurants, 3 stores, an auditorium and many office spaces. I worked on a project titled Machine Learning-Assisted Polymer Nanocomposite Design. This project was aimed at creating the first large database of Polymer Nanocomposite Data and then using machine learning techniques to analyze the data and learn how to optimize certain design parameters of that material. Key Contributions:-Collaborated with an interdisciplinary team to gain insight in Polymer Nanocomposite Structure Data-Ran many experiments to help establish the most effective parameters and the interactions and limits of the parameters- Ran simulations using LAMMPS simulations for experiments that would otherwise be too laborious, time consuming or expensive to run in a laboratory
